We absolutely loved our visit! The ambiance was wonderful, and the food was truly authentic Nepali. Everything we tried – the chicken sausage, chicken momo, samay baji, chicken biryani, and butter chicken – tasted incredible. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Happy, earthy, fulfilling and flavorful food from the hills. Unapologetically original and not messing with the taste buds. You should go to enjoy the authenticity and discover the cuisine of Nepal

**Exceptional Cuisine and Service!** If you're looking to experience authentic Nepalese dishes, this is the place to be. I ordered the Bhutan set, which was exquisite. The chili momo and steamed chicken momo were also delightful. While I personally prefer a tomato-based sauce with my momo, which was different from the one offered, everything else—from the delectable food to the impeccable service and charming decor—was superb. I will definitely be returning!

I’m a tattoo artist and I have traveled all over the globe. I’ve even worked in India in New Delhi, and several other places, and I’ve eaten Indian food all over the world and about a month ago this place opened up right by my tattoo studio Forever Ink Tattoo, and I know that people in India must be crying because these guys are not there making their food. When I tell you, this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I say that with no BS. I am also a classically trained chef so I know what I am talking about when it comes to preparing food and delicious meals. I studied Indian cooking in New Delhi and I am so happy to have eaten at this place. I’ve probably eaten there paneer Assorted dishes twice in a week. There is a huge amount of Indian restaurants in Edison, New Jersey and this one’s in South Plainfield, New Jersey and I won’t eat Indian food anywhere else. Thank you guys for great food and great service.

I dont know where to start.i am a food lover, and I enjoy eating out .this place is a gem, this place has a fantastic ambiance ,and the waitress provided excellent service. The restaurant was very busy, but she still came by several times to make sure we were happy with the food. She refilled our water every time. we also got a nice surprise when the owner, Mr.Bista , came out and talked to us.
Chili momo rich and aromatic, served with tricolor peppers. We also ordered Bara set and samai baji, which had a very authentic Nepali taste
The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-timer, moksha eats won't disappoint! If you're unsure what to order, please ask Mr. Bista for suggestions
Highly recommended! I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

My husband and I stopped over this area of NJ for a wedding, we are from NY. We were not disappointed by this place! The palak paneer was cooked to perfection. We also got the biryani, the chicken was so moist. The chili chicken momo and the chili chicken had the right amount of spice and the veggies accompanying it were super fresh! We were truly blown away. Our server was also very attentive and friendly.

This place has a very clean and welcoming atmosphere, good music and Futbol on the big screen. I had Dumplings, goat samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and Naan. Every plate is fresh and it shows in the taste and look of every item. Great place to visit whether you live close or not. Plus the owner and staff were very pleasant. 10 stars!!

Nice ambience and service. The traditional nepali food is good. We tried Chilli Paneer momos, Bara Egg and Chowmein. It’s fresh, good quality, authentic and delicious. The staff pleasantly explained and answered all our questions regarding the ingredients and food. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

Wow!!! What an experience!!! No more driving to Queens, New York for authentic Nepali food. Definitely exceeded my expectations with the ambiance, exceptional service and great authentic Nepali food. For a newly opened restaurant, everything ran smoothly, and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into creating a memorable dining experience. Been there multiple times to try new foods and always wowed!! A must-visit

This is hands down the best Nepalese food I’ve had anywhere in the US! My wife and I were craving some momos so we googled some spots near by and decided to stop in at Moksha today. I didn’t take a picture of the momos because we devoured them immediately. They were so juicy, so fresh and packed with so much flavor, didn’t even need the dipping sauce for them to be honest.

And then on to the main, I got a traditional Nepali thali with goat and it was pure perfection, the goat was cooked perfectly, the saag and daal were exceptionally delicious as was everything else. Perfectly spiced, and packed full of beautiful flavors. We will definitely be back for more.

Big shout out to Prachanda as well, his service was exceptional as well. Give this place a chance if you wanna have some authentic North Indian and Nepali food.

I was really touched by fresh food and kind people. This restaurant has a lot of beautiful cultural decorative pieces that originated from Nepal, their authentic food is the best you’ll find! And let me tell you their frozen momos is just finger licking good. This place is very kid friendly! The staffs are amazing, kind and patient. Cleanliness is on point as well! I have nothing but good things to say about this place, I’ve never found anything wrong no matter how many times I’ve visited!

We had a dinner three days in a row at Moksha EATS in our trip to NJ. Every food we tried delighted our Nepali taste buds. I was pleased and excited to find a variety of Nepali dishes on the menu. Momo is a hit - we tried steam and chilli chicken. Nepali-style Chowmein, Mushroom Choila, and Bara are all great, 10 on 10. Thank you for providing authentic Nepali cuisine and creating a warm and enjoyable dining experience in NJ.

Food was really good for my first amount of Nepali food. We had Samay Baji - Chicken Chhoila, steamed dumplings and garlic naan.

The food was flavorful (aka bussin') and the atmosphere was really chill and calm.

I’m a chef myself, I was totally blown away by the taste and quality of the food and the ambience. I loved lamb chop and chicken makhani. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and ambience. It is a BYOB place. Great place to wine and dine with family and friends.
